Engineering Management EMU This page is for Eastern Michigan University's Engineering Management Masters Program. 1. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S.

Eligibility & Program:
For full admission, applicants must have
1) Earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution
2) A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program. Conditional admission may be available to applicants not meeting minimum admission requirements. Applicants mus

t also meet the following program requirements:

Have a technical- or industrial-related undergraduate degree (i.e., science, engineering, technology, or business) with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Submit a Personal Statement explaining their academic and professional career. International students should also submit English Proficiency Test Results. Students with a Bachelor’s degree may enroll in a limited number of graduate courses as a graduate non-degree student before degree admission. The master's program requires 36 total credit hours. You must take a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester to stay on track for graduation. This is a designated STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program.

Comment about EM Program at EMU:
The Engineering Management Program offers a well-rounded curriculum combining expert engineering knowledge and core management skills. Courses like "Engineering Value and Economic Analysis" and "Integrated Product and Process Design" clearly stress both theoretical foundations and practical applications, which I especially value. Including electives like "Lean Systems Team Management" and "Intro to Artificial Intelligence for Decision Support” let students fit their education to their particular interests and professional objectives.

This program drew me in since it offers the tools and knowledge required to properly oversee and lead engineering projects in the dynamic modern workplace. Emphasizing modern subjects like lean manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and enterprise integration, guarantees graduates are ready to face the difficulties of current engineering management.
