Students at Crafton Hills College shared original research and presentation skills during the college’s Spring 2026 Student Research Conference, held Friday, April 24, in LRC 231.

It has been a VERY busy couple of weeks for the Honors Institute. Last week was our Student Research Conference, Thirteen of our students presented research they have done in an Honors class, in a STEM/MESA summer internship, or on their own.. Two of the students gave both poster and oral presentations!

Congratulations, Jazmyn Garcia, for being one of five students in the Redlands area awarded a $1,000 AAUW Nancy Yowell Memorial Scholarship for women students who returned to college after a break in their education.

It was a great day at UC Riverside last Saturday for the Honors Transfer Council of California (HTCC) Research Conference. We are so proud of our Crafton Honors students!

EIGHTEEN Honors students showed up at a service project on a Friday morning of the first week of the semester. They cleaned the fruit off four citrus trees belonging to an elderly couple who will donate the fruit to Redlands Family Service Association. This is an amazing group of young people!

Twenty Honors and STEM students toured the Loma Linda University Medical School Anatomy Building on Friday, including time in the cadaver lab, the simulation lab, and the embryo museum. We also had time to hear about different majors offered by the university. What a fabulous experience! Thanks, LLU!
