A new chapter begins for Calvary Bible Institute.

As David Enos passes the torch to Galilee Smith, we are filled with gratitude for his years of faithful leadership, dedication, and investment in the lives of countless students. His passion for God’s Word and heart for discipleship have helped shape CBI into what it is today, and his impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

We are excited to see how the Lord will lead through Galilee in this new season. Please join us in praying for wisdom, strength, and God’s guidance as he steps into this role and continues the mission of equipping believers through the study of God’s Word.

We also ask that you keep David and his family in prayer as they step into the next chapter God has for them. We are deeply grateful for his faithful service and look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to use him in the years ahead.

As one chapter closes and another begins, we celebrate God’s faithfulness and look forward with great anticipation to all He has in store for CBI.

Not everything that made this day meaningful happened on a stage.

It was in the room, in the conversations, in the embraces, and in the quiet moments of gratitude shared between friends and family. It was worship that felt personal, joy that felt shared, and a community gathered to celebrate what God has done in and through this season.

A day filled with people who have walked together, prayed together, and now celebrate together.

The Class of 2026 🎓

This past Friday, we watched another group step out in faith, ready to go wherever the Lord leads.

It was a night full of emotion and significance.
A final graduation led by David Enos, alongside his family, after faithfully serving and leading CBI for the past decade, as they now step into what the Lord has for them in Idaho.

We also celebrated Jerel Hagerman being presented with a doctorate from Calvary Chapel University, honoring years of faithful ministry and leadership.

And heard from Josh Parker, a CBI alumnus now serving in ministry, as he encouraged this class in their next steps.

Praying for this class as they go out to live what they’ve been taught.
Go where He leads.

Summer, a second-semester student, shared a devotional today that encouraged us to use our words with wisdom, kindness, and grace. She reflected on Proverbs 31:26: ‘She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

Summer reminded us how powerful our words can be and how God calls us to speak life, encouragement, and truth to those around us. Her devotional was a beautiful reminder that wisdom and kindness should reflect Christ in the way we speak and live each day.
Take a few minutes to watch her devotional and be encouraged in your walk with the Lord today!

Keep praying for Summer as she continues growing and seeking God’s will for her life.

This morning at CBI was a special time set apart for worship. Before the day’s activities began, we paused together as a community to lift our voices, center our hearts, and focus on the Lord.

Through Psalm 23:1-6, we were reminded that worship is more than a moment-it’s a response to who God is: our Shepherd, our provider, and our peace.
Grateful for mornings like this where we get to slow down and seek Him together.

Logan, a second-semester student, shared a devotional today that challenged us to not just hear God’s Word, but to actually live it out. He reflected on James 1:22-24, reminding us that it’s easy to look in the mirror of God’s Word and walk away unchanged-but God calls us to be doers, not just hearers.

Logan encouraged us to let Scripture shape our daily actions, decisions, and character, so our faith is more than words-it’s lived out in real life. Take a few minutes to watch his devotional and be encouraged to put God’s Word into practice today!

Keep praying for Logan as he continues to grow and seek God’s will for his life.

No context.
No explanations.
Just a small glimpse into life at CBI.

Somehow between studying Scripture, chapel, and late-night conversations... this is what happens.

Also how many haircuts did you guys see?
