🤝 AUV STRENGTHENS CONNECTIONS WITH VIETNAM’S AVIATION INDUSTRY, JOINS VABA’S EXECUTIVE BOARD FOR THE 2026–2031 TERM
On July 13, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Aviation Business Association (VABA) held its 4th Congress for the 2026–2031 term, bringing together representatives from government agencies, aviation enterprises, educational institutions, and organizations operating in the aviation sector nationwide.
🏫 Representing The American University in Vietnam (AUV), Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh – Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, attended the Congress and was honored to be elected by the Congress as a member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Aviation Business Association for the 2026–2031 term.
🎖️ This milestone marks an important recognition from the aviation business community of AUV’s contributions to higher education. It also opens new opportunities for the University to strengthen collaboration with the Association, aviation enterprises, and strategic partners in developing high-quality human resources to support the growth of Vietnam’s aviation industry.
Over the years, AUV has maintained close cooperation with the Vietnam Aviation Business Association and organizations across the aviation sector. Building on an aviation education foundation established since the early 21st century, AUV and its partners have contributed to the training of pilots and aviation technical professionals, helping provide skilled human resources for the industry.
💙 Following the American higher education model, AUV is committed to developing academic programs that closely integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience, meeting the demands of digital transformation, innovation, and international integration in the aviation sector. With a partnership network of hundreds of universities and educational institutions in the United States, AUV is ready to collaborate with VABA, airlines, regulatory agencies, and industry partners to develop international-standard training and professional development programs in areas such as aviation management, logistics and supply chain management, digital technology, artificial intelligence, airport operations management, aviation safety and security, and other emerging fields — addressing the evolving needs of the aviation industry in the new era.
With its new role on the VABA Executive Board, AUV reaffirms its commitment to working alongside the Vietnam Aviation Business Association and its members in developing and implementing education, research, and workforce development initiatives. The University aims to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam’s aviation sector through internationally aligned training programs that support sustainable growth and global integration.
🌟 The election of Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Aviation Business Association for the 2026–2031 term highlights AUV’s increasingly active role within the aviation business community. This achievement also provides a strong foundation for the University to expand collaboration with associations, enterprises, and domestic and international organizations, contributing to the development of an education ecosystem closely connected with industry needs and the advancement of high-quality human resources for Vietnam in the era of global integration.

🤝 AUV TĂNG CƯỜNG KẾT NỐI VỚI NGÀNH HÀNG KHÔNG VIỆT NAM, THAM GIA BAN CHẤP HÀNH VABA NHIỆM KỲ 2026–2031
Ngày 13/7/2026, tại Hà Nội, Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Hàng không Việt Nam (VABA) đã tổ chức Đại hội lần thứ IV, nhiệm kỳ 2026–2031, với sự tham dự của lãnh đạo các cơ quan quản lý nhà nước, các doanh nghiệp hàng không, các cơ sở đào tạo và các tổ chức hoạt động trong lĩnh vực hàng không trên cả nước.
🏫 Đại diện The American University in Vietnam (AUV), TS. Trần Nguyễn Thy Bình – Nhà sáng lập, Chủ tịch Hội đồng Quản trị đã tham dự Đại hội và vinh dự được Đại hội tín nhiệm bầu vào Ban Chấp hành Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Hàng không Việt Nam nhiệm kỳ 2026–2031.
🎖️ Đây là dấu mốc quan trọng, thể hiện sự ghi nhận của cộng đồng doanh nghiệp hàng không đối với những đóng góp của AUV trong lĩnh vực giáo dục đại học, đồng thời mở ra nhiều cơ hội để Nhà trường tăng cường hợp tác với Hiệp hội, doanh nghiệp và các đối tác chiến lược trong đào tạo nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao, phục vụ sự phát triển của ngành hàng không Việt Nam.
Trong nhiều năm qua, AUV đã duy trì mối quan hệ hợp tác chặt chẽ với Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Hàng không Việt Nam và các đơn vị trong ngành. Kế thừa nền tảng đào tạo hàng không được hình thành từ đầu thế kỷ XXI, Nhà trường cùng các đối tác đã tham gia đào tạo phi công và nhân lực kỹ thuật hàng không, góp phần cung cấp nguồn nhân lực cho ngành.
💙 Hoạt động theo mô hình giáo dục đại học Hoa Kỳ, AUV định hướng phát triển các chương trình đào tạo kết hợp chặt chẽ giữa học thuật và thực tiễn, đáp ứng yêu cầu chuyển đổi số, đổi mới sáng tạo và hội nhập quốc tế của ngành hàng không. Với mạng lưới hợp tác gồm hàng trăm trường đại học và cơ sở giáo dục tại Hoa Kỳ, AUV sẵn sàng phối hợp với VABA, các hãng hàng không, cơ quan quản lý và doanh nghiệp trong ngành để phát triển các chương trình đào tạo, bồi dưỡng nguồn nhân lực theo chuẩn quốc tế trong các lĩnh vực như quản trị hàng không, logistics và chuỗi cung ứng, công nghệ số, trí tuệ nhân tạo, quản lý khai thác cảng hàng không, an toàn – an ninh hàng không và nhiều chuyên ngành khác, đáp ứng nhu cầu phát triển của ngành trong giai đoạn mới.
Với vai trò mới trong Ban Chấp hành VABA, AUV khẳng định cam kết đồng hành cùng Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Hàng không Việt Nam và các đơn vị thành viên trong việc xây dựng, triển khai các chương trình đào tạo, nghiên cứu và phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao. Nhà trường mong muốn góp phần nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh của ngành hàng không Việt Nam thông qua các chương trình đào tạo theo chuẩn quốc tế, đáp ứng yêu cầu phát triển bền vững và hội nhập toàn cầu.

Trần Nguyễn Thy Bình được Đại hội tín nhiệm bầu vào Ban Chấp hành Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Hàng không Việt Nam nhiệm kỳ 2026–2031, khẳng định vai trò ngày càng tích cực của AUV trong cộng đồng doanh nghiệp hàng không. Đây đồng thời là nền tảng quan trọng để Nhà trường thúc đẩy các chương trình hợp tác với Hiệp hội, doanh nghiệp và các tổ chức trong và ngoài nước, góp phần xây dựng hệ sinh thái đào tạo gắn với nhu cầu thực tiễn của doanh nghiệp và phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao cho Việt Nam trong kỷ nguyên hội nhập.
