ADVISORY

In view of the prevailing inclement weather and in consideration of the safety and well-being of the University community, all classes at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) on Friday, August 7, 2026, shall be conducted via synchronous online learning.

Classes shall follow the regular schedule and be conducted through the University's approved online learning platforms.

Please monitor the official PLP communication channels for further announcements and updates.

Didn't make it during your assigned ID processing schedule? Don't worry, you still have one last opportunity to have your PLP Student ID processed.

Venue: MIS Pasig City, Revolving Tower
Until: August 7, 2026 ONLY (8:00AM-5:00 PM)

Please take advantage of this final extension. After August 7, the ID processing period will officially end.

While your PLP Student ID is still being processed, you may enter the campus by presenting the following at the gate:

1. Subject Confirmation & Assessment Slip
2. One (1) Valid ID, such as Government-issued ID, or Student
Identification Card from your previous school (or any other valid
ID)

These documents are required for security purposes and must be presented upon entry to PLP.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥:

Once the official release of PLP Student IDs begins, the University will implement its "NO ID, NO ENTRY" policy. To avoid any inconvenience or delays in accessing the campus, please complete your ID processing before the August 7 deadline.

Benchmarking Visit of Abuyog Community College and the Municipality of Abuyog to Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig warmly welcomed the delegation from Abuyog Community College and the Municipality of Abuyog for a benchmarking visit held on July 28, 2026 at the PLP Banquet Hall. The activity served as a meaningful platform for the exchange of institutional and local governance best practices, promoting mutual learning and the sharing of innovative programs and experiences.

The delegation was led by Hon. Lemuel Gin K. Traya, Municipal Mayor of Abuyog and Chairman of the Board of Trustees together with Dr. Clemelle L. Montallana, President of Abuyog Community College. They were joined by members of the ACC Board of Trustees, municipal officials, college administrators, faculty representatives, and distinguished alumni who are among the institution's top LET performers.

The program was attended by the PLP Department Heads and featured presentations on the University's best practices as well as the innovative programs and initiatives of the City Government of Pasig presented by Ms. Maria Krisna P. Juangco of the Pasig Public Information Office. Through the exchange of insights and experiences, the benchmarking visit provided both institutions with valuable learning opportunities and a deeper appreciation of effective practices in higher education, public service, and community development.

GOOD NEWS, PLPians!

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig, in collaboration with GCash through its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Pasig City Government, is now implementing a more convenient and secure way of releasing student allowances.

This initiative covers the distribution of:
✅ Connectivity Allowance (for all officially enrolled students)
✅ Training Allowance (for officially identified recipients)
✅ Competition Allowance (for officially identified recipients)
✅ Academic Allowances (for officially identified recipients)

To ensure that eligible students receive their allowances efficiently, only officially enrolled PLP students should accomplish the GCash Information Form. Please accomplish the form on or before August 3, 2026

Important Reminders:
1. If you already have a GCash account, it must be fully verified.
2. The GCash account must be registered under your own name.
3. Double-check the information you provide before submitting the form to avoid issues.
4. Students who do not yet have a GCash account are encouraged to download the GCash app and create an account as soon as possible.
5. GCash representatives will be at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig on August 3–4 to assist students with their GCash-related concerns.
6. If you already have a GCash account number but do not yet have a GCash Visa Card, you may visit the GCash booth during these dates to apply for or claim one, subject to GCash's guidelines and availability.

We encourage all students to complete these requirements to help ensure the smooth, secure, and timely release of eligible student allowances.
