Our program does a lot of backpacking trips, but this was our first travel-based class. This winter term we had Ecotourism class in Kauai. It was a great opportunity to learn how tourism can be done sustainably, discuss how to approach travel as pilgrims rather than tourists, and to learn about Hawaiian culture. Of course another amazing benefit was getting to share life and awesome adventures with a great group of people.
We were living in the moment so much (and off the grid) that we didn’t post about it until now
