Call for papers: Religion and Engaged Scholarship for Ethical Governance

The Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of the Free State invites scholars, postgraduate students, clergy, practitioners and community leaders to submit papers for the Religion and Engaged Scholarship for Ethical Governance Conference.

The conference will take place from 22 to 23 April 2027 in Bloemfontein and will explore how religion and engaged scholarship can contribute to ethical governance, public accountability and social transformation.

The conference welcomes contributions that critically engage with religion, corruption, leadership, justice, governance, theological education and political transformation.
