🎓 FROM COLLEGE STUDENT TO PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS! 🎓

Our graduation celebrations were made even more meaningful by the presence of our guest speaker, Ms Keabetswe Portia Khetsi, a former Financial Management student and proud resident of Thaba Nchu.

Today, Ms Khetsi is a Debt Management Controller at the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) and she returned to the College to share her inspiring journey with our graduates, parents, guardians and guests.

Reflecting on her journey, Ms Khetsi shared that in 2019, she volunteered as part of her workplace placement. What started as an opportunity to gain practical experience became an important stepping stone in her professional journey.

She reminded graduates that the value of their time at Motheo goes far beyond the qualifications they receive. “The College gave us skills and life, not only qualifications.”

As we celebrate the Class of 2025, her story reminds our graduates that today is not the end of their journey it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with possibilities.

🎓 CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE 🎓

In her welcome address, College Principal Prof Dipiloane Phutsisi reflected on the significance of the day, noting that “today’s graduation ceremony is different, where we celebrate Diploma recipients and NC(V) Certificate recipients.” She acknowledged that while graduation ceremonies have previously been characterised by huge numbers, today is an opportunity to celebrate each graduate and the journey they have undertaken.

Prof Phutsisi reminded graduates that behind every achievement are people who invested in them parents, guardians, families and loved ones who made sacrifices for their wellbeing and success. She congratulated the graduates, saying their journey has demonstrated that perseverance truly pays off, while expressing appreciation to parents and guardians for their unwavering support.
