The annual Pecanwood Derby took place on home ground on Saturday, with the exciting addition of chess and debating to this year’s competition. Pecanwood claimed the Spirit and Sportsmanship Trophy after a spirited battle of the war cries. Woodlands, however, delivered strong performances across all activities and emerged as the overall winners.

Our Senior College staff proudly participated in the CANSA Relay for Life hosted at Woodlands International College on 9 May — a meaningful event celebrating cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and raising awareness and support for those affected by cancer.

The evening was filled with energy, laughter, and incredible college spirit as staff took part in various relay categories, including the glow-in-the-dark relay and team spirit events. Their enthusiasm and unity earned them the award for Best Dressed!

A particularly special moment was sharing the evening alongside two of our own cancer survivors, Mrs Harvey and Mrs Joel, whose strength and positivity continue to inspire the entire Woodlands family.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this special event.
