Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Leslie London (School of Public Health) for achieving a B1 rating from the National Research Foundation 🎉 A B1 rating means that all reviewers are firmly convinced that the applicant enjoys considerable international recognition for the high quality and impact of their recent research outputs, with some of them indicating that the applicant is a leading international scholar in their field.

Professor London’s field is public health medicine, but his career and interests span environmental health, occupational health, the health of vulnerable populations, alcohol epidemiology and alcohol harm prevention, and human rights.
