The East African Society is one of the largest, most diverse societies on the UCT campus. From its humble beginnings in 1998, where only 3 countries were represented, EASOC has now grown to represent Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan. Whether or not you are from these countries, EASOC is for you.

At this point, I would like to announce the first event of the semester our EASOC Games night.
Join us for a fun-filled evening of board games, intense card matches, and great conversations.
If you applied for an Exec position (or are thinking of voting!), this is also our official optional Meet & Greet. It’s your chance to chat with the candidates running for the 2027 Executive Committee in a relaxed, informal setting before voting opens on the 12th.
