The Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) recently attended the Career Exhibition at the eMalahleni Resort, hosted by the eMalahleni Local Municipality.

We had an incredible time engaging with vibrant youth from various schools sharing insights, knowledge, and information about the diverse skills programs offered at MRTT. Our focus was on demonstrating how these practical skills can empower them individually and drive positive change within their local communities.

It was truly a day well spent, filled with inspiring conversations and valuable knowledge-sharing.

Yesterday, 28 May 2026, the Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) attended the launch of the Phanda Thursday initiative at the Sasol Community Hall in eMbalenhle, Secunda (Govan Mbeki Local Municipality).

This incredible initiative is aimed at improving youth access to employment, training, and funding opportunities.

During the event, the MRTT team engaged directly with local youth to highlight how our skills development programs can drive community growth and empower individuals to start their own businesses. We also connected with various stakeholders to discuss how we can collectively foster a serious culture of entrepreneurship among young people.

It was a day filled with immense knowledge, learning, insights, and meaningful engagement!

Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust Hospitality and Tourism Academy successfully concluded a four-day induction programme for the late applications intake, which took place from Tuesday, 12 May 2026 to Friday, 15 May 2026.

The induction provided learners with important information about the Academy, programme expectations, workplace conduct, learning requirements, and the support available throughout their training journey.

MRTT HTA remains committed to empowering learners through quality hospitality and tourism training, while preparing them with the knowledge, discipline, and skills needed to succeed in the industry.

We welcome our new learners and wish them a productive and successful learning journey.
