Clinical expertise doesn't automatically create management capability.

The Management Development Programme in Healthcare Management is built for people already working in the healthcare sector, those who already have clinical or operational credibility.

What it adds is what experience alone doesn't teach: structured management, legal and ethical grounding, and a Capstone Project that makes them apply it to a real organisational challenge.

SMU celebrated the leadership, resilience and achievements of women at the VC’s SMU Women in Leadership Dinner 2026, held as part of Women’s Month.
