Prioritising Health, Wellness And Self Care

Rosebank International (formerly IIE Rosebank College) Cape Town hosted a Campus Health Day, bringing free health and wellness support directly to students.

In partnership with District Six Clinic and FAMSA, students had access to health screenings, confidential HIV testing and mental health support, alongside breast cancer awareness and oral hygiene sessions.

The day encouraged students to prioritise their wellbeing, access support and make informed choices about their health.

ROSEBANK INTERNATIONAL DURBAN LECTURER FORUM | Rosebank International (formerly IIE Rosebank College) Durban hosted a Lecturer Forum Meet Up, bringing together Programme Managers, new lecturers and academic staff for a day focused on collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development.

The forum created an open space for lecturers to discuss academic standards, teaching excellence, student engagement and innovative teaching practices. New lecturers also had the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges and expectations as they continue settling into the RI Durban academic environment.

The session featured an insightful address by Mr. L. Vuso, Acting Manager IST at Moses Kotane Institute, who shared valuable perspectives to inspire and equip the academic team.

Through meaningful discussions and interactive engagements, the forum strengthened connections between academic staff and reinforced RI Durban’s commitment to quality teaching, learning and student success.

TECHNOLEGENDS HACKATHON | Rosebank International (formerly IIE Rosebank College) Durban hosted the TechnoLegends Hackathon, challenging students to design and build a working app in just seven hours.

Four teams put their coding, design, problem solving and teamwork skills to the test as they developed their apps from scratch and presented their final products to a panel of judges.

The Hackathon created an exciting space for students to turn ideas into solutions, learn from one another and strengthen their technical and presentation skills under real time pressure.

Rosebank International (formerly IIE Rosebank College) Braamfontein hosted the BizMark Summit: Inside Industry, connecting students with experienced industry leaders and real world insights beyond the classroom.
