We congratulate our alumnus Lincoln Mali, CEO of Lesaka Technologies, on two prestigious honours received in the same week.

Lincoln received the Leadership and Legacy Award from the Urban College of Boston, where he also delivered the commencement address and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities. Back home in Johannesburg, he was named Inspirational Leader of the Year at the 2026 Future of Leadership Awards - with his children accepting the honour on his behalf while he was on stage in Boston.

Featured in our book Change Agents: Leadership lessons from 23 of South Africa's senior leaders, Lincoln's journey from adversity to being celebrated on two continents is a testament to resilience and purposeful leadership.
We are proud to call him part of the WBS family.

Today we are proud to share the words of Jordache D'abbadie on how the Wits Business School Management Development Programme (MDP) gave her the tools to lead and develop her team with greater performance and accountability.

From classroom theory to real-world leadership impact, this is how he describes the journey:

β€œThe Management Development Programme (MDP) at Wits Business School had a direct impact on how I lead and develop my team. The combination of theory and real-world application gave me tools I still use daily to improve performance and accountability. The online platform was highly professional, and the lecturers were engaging and supportive, which made the experience truly valuable. I would highly recommend this programme to professionals looking to strengthen their leadership capability and build the skills needed to lead their teams and businesses more effectively.”

Keep making your proud Jordache!
