Sharps, Flats, and Naturals - Time to add some color to our sound! A sharp (♯) raises a note by a half step, while a flat (♭) lowers it by a half step. A natural (♮) cancels them out. On a piano, these are usually your black keys, and on a guitar, it means moving up or down one fret!
