My husband made a cedar chest in school for his matric carpentry project and it’s where I store away all the amazing winter cashmere coats Mom has made me.

Tips for storing natural fibres for a season:

- Made sure everything you pack away is well cleaned and completely dry before storing

- Even if you don’t have a cedar chest you can use smaller cedar blocks or lavender sachets to keep hungry moths away.

You don’t need to be too worried about synthetic fibres. Those can just be cleaned, dried and packed away.
