University of KwaZulu-Natal Campus Lions Club Registered with the South African Department of Social Development with NPO Numeber 197-419. Lions continue to make a difference everyday
and everywhere.

Organisation name Entered into the DSD-NPO Register on 6th October 2017. Lions are an international network of 1.35 million men and women in over 45,000 clubs from over 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions also participate in a vast variety of projects important to

their communities. These projects range from assisting the underprivileged to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters. Beginning in 1917, Lions Clubs International has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

With 95th Edition of Comrades Marathon (2020) being cancelled, I took a step back to reflect about all the wonderful memories we've shared together as a club- since manning the tables/marshaling for this remarkable race event.

Lion Jane Wicks who gave me my very 1st Comrades experience, motivated me to always keep my head up and work with integrity when volunteering for a community project.

I'm forever grateful for this life changing opportunity and would do my best to inspire others to help out during the Comrades while enjoying the fun.
