Iziko Lesihlathululi-Mezwi SesiNdebele To date the Lexicography Unit has successfully launched the first bilingual dictionary (in isiNdebele to English &
visa-versa).

We intend to spark an interest among the users of isiNdebele language, by making them aware of the services & products offered by the lexicography unit, as well as receiving correspondence from the language users themselves. Iziko lesihlathululi-Mezwi sesiNdebele as based in the University of Pretoria was formulated in 1990 under the umbrella ship of PanSALB to develop and promote isiNdebele in al

l spheres of life. In accelerating this mandate the lexicography unit seeks to develop well capacitated dictionaries of all types to strengthen the competitiveness of isiNdebele language in all sectors there to. To follow suit the monolingual as well as the trilingual dictionaries are due for completion.
