📚 Unisa LIS at the CDiA Conference 2026

Unisa Library and Information Services (LIS) is participating in the Collection Development in Africa (CDiA) Conference, currently underway at the University of Cape Town from 8–10 September 2026.

Dr Mduduzi Ntetha will present a paper titled “Transformative Agreement as a Driver of Open Access Publishing: The Journey of an Open Distance and e-Learning University in South Africa”, under the theme Open Science, Transformative Agreements and Digital Libraries.

Ms Katlego Motimele and Mr Ngaletjane Lebea also presented their paper, “From Access to Ownership: Implementing Evidence-Based Acquisition at a Comprehensive Open Distance and e-Learning University in South Africa.”

Their participation contributes to important conversations on open access, evidence-based collection development and the future of digital libraries in African higher education.
