Why Adaptability Matters More Than Perfection
In a recent discussion about the modern workplace, our Dean shared an important insight about the skills professionals need today.
“In business, adaptability matters more than perfection because life rarely goes according to plan.”
He explained that workplaces are constantly changing. Markets shift, technology evolves, customer expectations change, and businesses need people who can adjust and respond confidently.
A good example is how quickly AI and technology are changing the way many industries operate.
“If you are waiting for the ‘perfect’ strategy, you may miss opportunities,” he said.
Instead, adaptability means being willing to learn, think on your feet, tolerate uncertainty, and keep moving forward, even when things are not perfect.
