The COSACSA Gauteng Provincial League Rugby Tournament delivered an exciting day of competitive action at Germiston Stadium, with teams battling for crucial points across the Men's 7s, Men's 15s, and Women's 7s divisions.
Players showcased determination, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the day, while supporters witnessed impressive performances and entertaining encounters.
Men's Rugby 7s Results
TSC 7 – 19 EEC
CJC 20 – 7 TNC
EEC opened their campaign with a convincing victory over TSC, while CJC displayed attacking dominance to secure a comfortable win against TNC.
Men's Rugby 15s Results
SWGC 0 – 19 EWC
WESTCOL 42 – 0 SEDCOL
EWC produced a disciplined performance to overcome SWGC, while WESTCOL delivered the result of the day, running in multiple tries to record a commanding 42-point victory over SEDCOL.
Women's Rugby 7s Results
EEC 5 – 10 TSC
SWGC 28 – 5 CJC
SEDCOL 0 – 15 WESTCOL
EWC 14 – 0 TNC
The Women's division produced thrilling rugby, with TSC edging EEC in a closely contested match. SWGC impressed with a dominant 28-5 victory over CJC, while WESTCOL and EWC secured comfortable wins against SEDCOL and TNC respectively.

All participating teams and officials were reminded of the following:
Players must carry valid Student Cards or Identification Documents.
Dangerous tackles and foul play are strictly prohibited.
Respect for referees, officials, and opponents is mandatory.
Matches are played according to standard Rugby Union rules.
Teams must arrive before their scheduled kick-off times.
Fair play and good sportsmanship are compulsory.
Alcohol, drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited at the venue.
Medical personnel were available on site throughout the tournament.
The tournament once again highlighted the growing standard of rugby within COSACSA Gauteng, with teams demonstrating commitment, discipline, and a strong competitive spirit.
