The Faculty of Engineering is giving students a valuable head start through its 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 - designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application.

This initiative introduces students, early in their studies, to how industries operate, the role engineers play, and the skills required to succeed. In an increasingly complex and globally connected environment, this kind of exposure is essential in preparing graduates who are both capable and industry-ready.

Top performers included Taahir Govender, Elizabeth Montgomery and Daisy Ndebele. Read more to see how they stood out - https://www.su.ac.za/en/faculties/engineering/news/engineering-students-gain-real-world-insight-through-virtual-industry-tour-initiative.
