The Department of Student Housing hosted a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Awareness Session, creating space for open conversations and empowering students to recognise, prevent and speak out against GBV.

The session highlighted the importance of respect, consent, safety and collective responsibility in creating a campus environment where every student feels protected, heard and supported.

BANKSETA ENGAGES WITH MUT FUNDED STUDENTS

Today, the MUT Financial Aid Office welcomed representatives from BankSETA for an engaging session with BankSETA-funded students.

The induction provided students with valuable insights into the BankSETA bursary programme, including bursary allocations, academic progress and a better understanding of the organisation and its role in supporting students’ educational journeys.

The session also included a monitoring and evaluation process, aimed at verifying students’ enrolment and confirming that bursary recipients are genuine, active students at MUT.

MUT extends its sincere appreciation to the BankSETA representatives for their continued support, engagement and commitment to student success. Your investment in our students helps create opportunities for them to thrive academically and prepare for meaningful careers.
