CPUT Wellington

CPUT Wellington CPUT Wellington is in the heart of Wellington, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. Official CPUT Wellington Page

The Wellington Campus offers courses within the Applied Science, Business and Education Faculty. An extraordinary aspect is that the Wellington campus offers all courses in the Faculty of Education in Afrikaans. Students are prepared to teach through medium of Afrikaans in the Northern Cape and West Coast, where learners are predominantly Afrikaans speaking. On our Mowbray campus, all courses are

offered in English. Students are, however, welcome to do assessments in the language of their choice. Wellington Campus has a vibrant student community and students are involved in community engagement programmes that ranges from tutoring learners at schools and facilitating art and sport projects at rural schools. Students at the Wellington Campus also have access to state-of-the-art facilities and a wide range of sporting facilities, which we hope to expand in future. Visit out website on www.cput.ac.za to learn more about our courses at CPUT.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some just show up with open hands!
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made…” — Nelson Mandela

So make a big difference, with a little sacrifice.
Maak ’n groot verskil, met ’n klein opoffering.

Een daad. Een dag. ’n Wêreld van verskil – doen dit vir Mandela.

Celebrating Africa Day with our incredible 2nd-year Intermediate Phase students! 🇿🇦✨

Ter herdenking van Afrika-dag het ons 'n pragtige uitstalling in ons biblioteek opgestel wat die wonderlike "Ek is ook Afrika" kreatiewe skryfwerk en kunswerk ten toon stel. These young voices remind us what it truly means to be African - living, breathing, and shaping futures in the land that gives us our identity.

Baie geluk aan Mev Theys en haar talentvolle studente!

We help to keep Wellington clean! Thank you Mrs Wilna du Plessis for inspiring us.
