Dear Students

With the exams and test series on hand we realise the demanding schedules, however we find it important to strike a balance in order to achieve our academic goals. We as the Local Sport Forum want to encourage our students to stay healthy. We believe an active body host an active mind. Therefore we suggest that students avail themselves for 30-minute exercise activities addressing overall fitness which will be held on Mondays.

This program will kick-start tomorrow 29 May 2017 where the initiators, The LSF, will begin with an easy run starting from Murray Garden @ 16:00.

All students, staff personnel and the broader Wellington community are invited to join in the fun.

We take the liberty of challenging the Hockey Committee to facilitate next week’s session.

CPUT are you ready!

After numerous attempts the LSRC were able to arrange transport for the Varsity Shield Game at UWC. We will cater as far as possible taking in consideration the amount of transport being provided. Take note of the following:
· Each bus must be accompanied by an HC-member/group who will be
responsible for good conduct.
· At all times students must show good sportsmanship and uphold the image of CPUT.
· Busses will depart from Wellington campus Malherbe Street(Outside K-block ) at 15:00.The entrance fee is R10.00

Hello everybody 😊

As most of you know CPUT is partaking in the Varsity Shield this year. We kick this event of with a derby against UWC on Thursday the 9th of February. All the support will be appreciated. Kick off is at 16:45 @ UWC Sport stadium, Cape Town.

The supporters t-shirts can be purchased for R100 on campus at the financial office.

An update regarding the Sport Forum for CPUT Wellington Campus:

On Tuesday a Sport Forum will be constituted, according the SRC Constitution, which states that the Sport Forum must be constituted by the Central SRC, and unfortunately last year our current Sport Forum was constituted by the previous SRC, and not by Central, as it should have been done, but they were unaware.

The Sport Forum consists of nominees sent by the different sport codes on our campus.

The names of the Sport Forum members constituted on Tuesday will be sent to you after the process has been completed.

We trust it will be smooth process. Have a great week - Almost holiday!
