VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Tutor – Health and Social Care Programme

Coweth College is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Tutor in the Health and Social Care Programme.

Requirements

Applicants must:

✔ Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Registered Nursing
✔ Have knowledge of administration or be willing to undergo training in administration
✔ Possess teaching or clinical experience (added advantage)
✔ Have training or experience in Geriatric Care (an added advantage)
✔ Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Be passionate about teaching and student development

About Us

We are an institution set up to offer programmes in Education, Health Sciences and Media Studies. We have since commissioned the Education programme which is offered by University of Africa.

The Diploma programmes are offered on both fultime and through Distance learning while the Bachelors and Masters degree in Education are registered to the University. While the bachalor and masters degree programmes are offered only through distance learning.

Health Sciences, under this faculty which we are yet to launch after doing the accreditation with the General Nursing Council (GNC) and Health Professional of Zambia, we shall be training Nurses and Clinical Offices. At the moment, the Students we enroll wanting to study Nursing are admitted to our partner institution, Golden Light College of Nursing.

The Media Studies programme is yet to be launched. The programme will target in-service people and School leavers wanting to take-up Journalism or Public Relations as their career. It will start as a distance learning programme. At the moment students wanting to pursue this programme are admitted to our partner institution, Livingstone University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management (LUTEBM).
