π©Ί Happy International Nurses Day! π
Today, on the 12th of May β the birthday of the great Florence Nightingale β we pause to honour the heartbeat of our healthcare system: our nurses.
To every nurse serving across the length and breadth of Zambia β in our hospitals, clinics, and communities β thank you. Your compassion, resilience, and dedication do not go unseen. You show up every single day, not for the applause, but because people need you. That is nothing short of extraordinary.
π¬ "Nurses are the backbone of every healthcare system. Their hands heal, their voices comfort, and their presence gives hope."
We also take this moment to extend a very special congratulations to the lecturers and faculty of London American University College Zambia (LAUC-Z) β the dedicated professionals who are shaping the next generation of nursing excellence in our nation. π
Your commitment goes beyond the classroom. You pour knowledge, mentorship, and passion into every student who will one day walk into a ward and make a difference in someone's life. The nurses Zambia is proud of today are a reflection of the educators who believed in them first.
To our nursing students at LAUC-Z β your journey matters. Keep going. The profession you are entering is one of the most noble on earth.
Together, we celebrate every nurse, every educator, and every life touched by this incredible profession. π
