It is with deep sorrow that the University of Zambia community mourns the passing of Alice Mbewe a first year student under the School of Humanities and social sciences.

Alice, was a dedicated and hardworking student whose passion for her academic journey touched many. Her passing is a heartbreaking loss to her family, friends, classmates, and the entire UNZA community.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and all those who knew and loved her. May they find strength, comfort, and peace.
