Will you let them tell you that your time is up?
Will you let them tell you that you are not enough?
Will you let them tell you, put a period to your story?

Who says you cannot be the ocean?
The one that brings comfort to someone?
Who says that you are something that you are not?
Why allow them to put a tag on you, that is definitely not you?
What are you?
Are you a failure?
Are you a disappointment?
If you are not that, then what are you?
Put a tag on yourself, a big one so that they can read
Put a tag that says, "I am me, and I am not who you wanted me to be"
For it is not "you" that defines "me"
It is "I" and that is "me"
