Vice Chancellor, Dr. Alvert N. Ng’andu Applauds Staff Excellence at Eden University Awards Ceremony

Dr. Alvert N. Ng'andu has praised members of staff at Eden University for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence during the Institution’s Staff Excellence Recognition Ceremony.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Ng’andu said the University continues to play a critical role in national development through education, research, and innovation.
The Vice Chancellor noted that Eden University remains firmly positioned as a contributor to Zambia’s developmental agenda by producing graduates who are not only academically competent, but also ethically grounded and socially responsible.
He further emphasized the Institution’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement in ensuring that the University remains a centre of excellence.
Dr. Ng’andu also highlighted that the strength of any Institution lies in its people, stating that the Staff Excellence Recognition Ceremony was held to honour the effort, commitment, teamwork, innovation, and resilience demonstrated by various schools, departments, and individuals across the University.
“To all who will be awarded today, I extend my sincere congratulations. Your achievements reflect the values we uphold as a University , discipline, professionalism, teamwork, and excellence,” Dr. Ng’andu said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kelvin Kaunda commended members of staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment towards the growth of the Institution.
As part of motivating staff and promoting a healthy working culture, Mr. Kaunda dedicated his entire month’s salary to the University’s longest serving lecturer, Dr. Linda Sibanda, in recognition of her years of dedicated service to the Institution.
The ceremony celebrated outstanding contributions by schools, departments, and individuals who have continued to contribute positively towards the growth and success of Eden University.
