*ADT* usually stands for *Articulated Dump Truck* in construction and mining. It’s the heavy equipment listed in the training flyer you shared.

What it is
An ADT is a heavy-duty hauling truck with a hinged “articulation” joint between the tractor and the dump body. That joint lets the front and rear sections move independently, so it can handle rough, off-road terrain better than a rigid dump truck.

Main functions
1. *Hauling material*: Transports earth, rock, ore, gravel, and waste on construction and mining sites.
2. *Off-road operation*: Designed for mud, steep grades, and uneven ground where regular trucks would get stuck.
3. *All-wheel drive*: Most ADTs are 6x6 or 8x8 drive, giving better traction and stability on soft ground.
4. *Dumping/loading*: The rear body hydraulically tips to unload material quickly at dump sites
