UNZAPHARMSA implies The University Of Zambia Pharmacy Students Association first set up in the early 2000's by the first pharmacy students to be enrolled at the University. It has stood the test of time upto this very day and is yet to overcome more years. The association through this page is aimed at making known the Pharmacy profession to the public at large and be able to answer any questions from the public relating to the pharmacy profession

Request for financial assistance.

My name is Vivian. k. Chongo, I am a final fifth (5) year student pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Zambia (UNZA) Ridgeway Campus.

​Today, I stand just one step away from achieving my dream, but financial hardship is threatening to stop me at the finish line. ​I am self-sponsored, and with both of my parents who are unemployed. Initially my aunty was the one payimg my tuition, Now she abruptly lost her job in my 4th year of study, having only paid 25% of my registration fee that year (2025) remaining with a balance of k24,000.

I was allowed to write the exams that year having paid 25% percent according to university provisions. That balance was carried over to this year of 2026 added to yearly fees of about k33,000 led to a total amount of k57,000.

Current outstanding tuition fee balance is at K49,544, with a k8000 that has been raised through donation that ive recieved so far.

My exams begin next week Monday 24th August, 2026. And by Friday this week I have to clear my outstanding fee of k49,544, EIse I will not be allowed to sit for my final exams. ​It breaks my heart to think that years of hard work, dedication, and sleepless nights could be put on hold simply because of financial challenge.

​I am humbly reaching out to well wishers to kindly support me in any way possible or simply sharing this post with anyone you may know that may be of help.
