Strong teams are built on trust, clarity, and shared commitment.

Today, the Zambia Institute for Tourism and Hospitality Studies (ZITHS) management team, led by the Executive Director, Mrs. Anne Kaoma Sibanda, convened for a focused management engagement and team-building session.

The session created space for open and honest dialogue, alignment of priorities, and strengthening how we work together as leaders. It also reinforced our shared responsibility to foster a culture of accountability, respect, and collaboration across the institution.

At ZITHS, we recognise that the soul of an organisation is shaped by its people—by how they lead, how they engage, and how they choose to work together, especially in moments that require honesty and alignment.

By investing in our leadership cohesion, we continue to build a high-trust, high-performance culture that enables us to deliver with excellence and integrity.

When leadership is aligned, the entire organisation moves forward with unity, clarity, and purpose.

Dear ZITHS Team,

Today we pause to celebrate Labour Day and recognize the hard work, skill, and dedication each of you brings to ZITHS every day.

From the classroom to the kitchen, from student support to admin and maintenance , it’s your effort that keeps our institution running and helps us shape the next generation of tourism and hospitality professionals.

Thank you for the late nights, the problem solving, the mentorship, and the care you show our students and each other. ZITHS wouldn’t be ZITHS without you.

We look forward to continuing this journey together, building excellence one day at a time.

Happy Labour Day!
