Patriotic Front-PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri says the law should take its course on suspected UPND cadres who attacked Vice President Inonge Wina’s family in Nalolo Constituency-Western Province.
Phiri has called on the police to ensure that the culprits are arrested.
Some suspected UPND cadres on the weekend attacked Inonge Wina’s family in NALOLO Constituency-Western Province.
The suspected UPND cadres allegedly smashed the windows of Ms Wina’s house in Nalolo forcing the relatively to flee.
However,
The UPND has distanced itself from the weekend attacks.

Party UPND Vice President Canisius Banda says whoever is said to have attacked the vice president’s home may have been PF cadres disguised in UPND regalia.

Dr. Banda maintains UPND does not support acts of lawlessness.

Actually, A 25-year-old man of Senanga has been arrested in connection with the attacks.
Western Province commissioner of police Charles Lungu confirmed the arrest of Kwitu Kanyanga.
Kanyanga has since been charged with malicious damage to property.
