Rodgers Mwila is a Heavy Equipment Engineering student and the current NORTEC Student Union President.

Passionate about student welfare and academic excellence, he believes in servant leadership built on listening, teamwork, equality and dialogue.

His focus is on addressing student concerns such as accommodation, academic performance, infrastructure development, security and fair representation, while promoting unity and opportunities for all students.

Rodgers is committed to ensuring that every student's voice is heard.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF GRADUATION DATE

The Management wishes to inform all graduating students, parents, guardians, invited guests and the general public that the Graduation Ceremony initially scheduled for 5th June 2026 has been postponed due to the ongoing road works along Chela and Kwacha roads respectively.

The new date is 15th July 2026 while the venue has been moved to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. Time remains the same .

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prepare to celebrate this important milestone together.

We were honoured to receive Denny Kalyalya, Governor of the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) and Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Lawrence Mwanza at our stand yesterday.

Dr Kalyalya, who represented President Hakainde Hichilema as Guest of Honour at this year’s CAMINEX 2026, took time to interact with NORTEC Business Development Officer Ms Isabel Kasoka and students showcasing various innovations.
