Our nation has been elected to the United Nations Security Council as a non‑permanent member for the 2027–2028 term, winning 182 out of 190 votes — the highest among all contesting countries!
This is Zimbabwe’s third time on the Council, a proud moment that shows our growing role in shaping peace and security worldwide.
