A recent Griffith Film School visit to the University of New Caledonia marked an exciting next step toward the Pacific Region Filmmaking Bootcamp – New Caledonia 2026.

Supported by Fonds Pacifique, the program will bring Griffith students together with students from New Caledonia and the wider Pacific region for French-Pacific cultural immersion, field-based learning and collaborative documentary production.

A special thank you to Tiphaine Mayran de Chamisso, Jeanne Vassard and the wider UNC team for hosting us in such an extraordinary location. We are excited to bring this collaboration to life in November 2026.
