𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 এর উদ্যোগে খুলনা খান বাহাদুর আহ্ছানউল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে দিনব্যাপী Hands-on Workshop on Mendeley সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

বিভাগের প্রভাষক ফারজানা শারমিন আনিকা এর উপস্থাপনায় অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন Ms. Tania Sultana, যিনি গবেষণা ব্যবস্থাপনায় আধুনিক টুল ব্যবহারের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিভাগের প্রভাষক আহসান উল্লাহ। কর্মশালার প্রশিক্ষক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন মোঃ নাজিম, কো-অর্ডিনেটর, Research Center for Library Innovation and Knowledge Management ও প্রভাষক, ইনফরমেশন সায়েন্স এন্ড লাইব্রেরি ম্যানেজমেন্ট বিভাগ। এছাড়াও প্রোগ্রাম সভাপতিত্ব করেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান ড. মোঃ নুরুল ইসলাম, যিনি গবেষণায় রেফারেন্স ম্যানেজমেন্ট সফটওয়্যার ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজনীয়তা নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখেন।

কর্মশালায় অংশগ্রহণকারীদের Mendeley সফটওয়্যারের বিভিন্ন ফিচার যেমন রেফারেন্স সংরক্ষণ, সাইটেশন তৈরি, এবং গবেষণা কাজকে আরও সহজ ও সংগঠিত করার কৌশল হাতে-কলমে শেখানো হয়। উল্লেখ্য, এই কর্মশালার নলেজ পার্টনার হিসেবে ছিলেন LEDARS-Local Environment Development and Agricultural Research Society
