Green University of Bangladesh successfully conducted a comprehensive Fire Safety Awareness and Emergency Evacuation Drill with the active participation of administrative officials, Security Section personnel, MLSS members, drivers, helpers, and canteen staff.
The program was organized as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe and prepared campus environment. The session included awareness discussions on fire prevention, emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, emergency exit routes, assembly points, and the proper use of firefighting equipment installed across the campus.
Practical scenario-based fire drill exercises were also conducted to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
The keynote session was delivered by Captain (Navy) Shaikh Mohammad Salahuddin, (TAS), NGP, psc (retd), Registrar of Green University of Bangladesh, whose guidance inspired participants to strengthen safety awareness and collective responsibility across the campus community.
The university also expressed its intention to organize a full-scale firefighting and emergency evacuation exercise in collaboration with Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence in June 2026.
