Egypt University of Informatics - EUI EUI is established by MCIT to be the "Gateway to the Science of the Future"

EUI is established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to become a leading academic institution offering specialised educational programs to meet the needs of the labour market with state-of-the-art ICT specialists through its campus based in the Knowledge City at the New Administrative Capital.

EUI equips students with the sciences needed for the future through four faculties (Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Informatics, and Digital Arts, and Design), offering 16 specialised educational programs to meet the labour market needs from specialists in the latest fields of ICT. Such fields include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, Electronics Industry and Communications Science, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Animation Arts, User experience, and Electronic Game Design.

EUI is proud to announce 23 international scholarships taking our students to top universities in the US, Canada & France. Microsoft Egypt is funding 16 of these scholarships, while WE (Telecom Egypt) and Banque Misr are each funding 3, alongside 1 more fully funded by EUI itself.

5 students head to CESI in France, 4 to ISART Digital in Paris, 7 to the University of Minnesota, and 7 to Telfer School of Management in Canada to bring global expertise back home. A heartfelt thank you to our partners — Microsoft Egypt, WE, and Banque Misr — for believing in our students, and helping turn this vision into reality.

In honor of Prof. Dr. Reem Bahgat — the visionary Founding President of Egypt University for Informatics (EUI) — we are proud to announce Prof. Reem Bahgat Scholarship for the academic year 2026–2027!

This year, the scholarship supports one outstanding Egyptian student in the Faculty of Engineering to study Quantum Computing.

Open to the top 100 nationwide students (General Secondary – Math / STEM Schools / Al-Azhar), covering full tuition, transportation, and accommodation for students outside Cairo and Giza.

Application Deadline: Sunday, August 16, 2026

Did you know your phone's daily habits could one day save your life?

Mai Sherif, Moaz Mohamed, Ahmed Mostafa, Seif El Islam Mostafa, and Abdallah Ehab — senior students from EUI's Faculty of Business Informatics took it from there and developed SoulPing Care as a graduation project under the supervision of Dr. Mostafa Kamel and Dr. Ahmed Hamdy.

Our brilliant seniors have done their homework and research, and found that there are over 600 million elderly people worldwide and 6–9 million in Egypt, where only ~20% currently use smartphones. That gap is exactly where SoulPing Care steps in — turning ordinary phone habits into an early-warning system for families and caregivers, without sacrificing dignity or independence.

Three brilliant minds from the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences, led by Dean Prof. Hoda Mokhtar, have proven that hiring doesn't have to be a headache—and their project has now been officially registered with the Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority.

Yehia Sonbol and Youssef Feltes from the Software Engineering track, alongside Ramzy Bakir from the Artificial Intelligence track, developed TlntCo under the supervision of Dr. Amal Elgammal and Dr. Sherine El-Fayoumy. The project brings the Software Engineering track's hands-on approach to life, transforming classroom concepts into a real-world platform that understands resumes instead of simply scanning for keywords like most traditional hiring software.

TlntCo fits seamlessly into recruiters' workflows. Instead of keyword matching, it reads resumes with human-like context to evaluate candidates more accurately. It ranks applicants, flags skill gaps, syncs with Google Calendar for easy scheduling, and generates tailored AI interview questions.
