جامعة مايو بالقاهرة تحتفي بذكرى نصر أكتوبر في حفل «أكتوبر حكاية نصر» 🇪🇬

في أجواء وطنية تجسد روح الانتماء والفخر ببطولات القوات المسلحة المصرية، نظّمت جامعة مايو بالقاهرة حفل «أكتوبر حكاية نصر»، إحياءً لذكرى انتصارات أكتوبر المجيدة، واستحضارًا لما قدمه أبطالنا من تضحيات صنعت النصر وكتبت صفحة خالدة في تاريخ الوطن.

وتضمّن الحفل مجموعة من الفقرات الفنية والإبداعية التي قدمها طلاب الجامعة، شملت المسرحية الوطنية «البيان السابع»، التي تناولت تضحيات أبطال حرب أكتوبر، إلى جانب باقة من الأغاني الوطنية، والرسومات الحية التي جسّدت مشاهد النصر، فضلًا عن إلقاء قصائد شعرية عبّرت عن عظمة الانتصار وروح الوطنية.

وتأكيدًا على حرص الجامعة على اكتشاف المواهب الطلابية ورعايتها، قام الأستاذ ناجح جلال، رئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة، بمنح مكافأة مالية كبيرة للطلاب المشاركين، تقديرًا لإبداعهم وتشجيعًا لهم على تنمية مواهبهم ومواصلة التميز.

أُقيم الحفل تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور محب الرافعي، رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد جودة، مستشار رئيس مجلس الأمناء للأنشطة الطلابية، وبإشراف الدكتورة مها صبري، منسق الأنشطة الطلابية بالجامعة.

وتؤكد جامعة مايو بالقاهرة من خلال هذه الفعاليات دورها في ترسيخ قيم الانتماء الوطني لدى طلابها، وإتاحة الفرصة أمامهم للتعبير عن إبداعاتهم ومواهبهم.

و تحت رعاية اد / محب الرافعي (رئيس الجامعة)، و اد / محمد جودة ( مستشار رئيس مجلس الامناء للانشطة الطلابيه) و اد / هالة عز الدين (عميد كلية العلاج الطبيعي)، واد / جابر سليمان (وكيل الكلية لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة)، وبإشراف وتنسيق د / محمود جابر (منسق لجنة الأنشطة الطلابية وخدمة المجتمع)..
نظمت كلية العلاج الطبيعي بجامعة مايو في القاهرة ندوة توعوية بالتعاون مع "مؤسسة بهية" لرفع الوعي بأهمية الكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي، والذي يمثل خطوة محورية في رحلة الشفاء والوقاية والتي شرفنا فيها بالحضور والتقديم:

🎙️ الأستاذة / نهلة مصطفى (متطوعة بقسم الدعم النفسي والعمل التطوعي)
🎙️كيرلس شحاته (طالب بالفرقة الخامسه بكلية العلاج الطبيعي و متطوع بقسم الدعم النفسي بمؤسسة بهية)
ولأن العطاء لا ينتهي، تناولت الندوة أيضاً الدور العظيم للتطوع وأهميته في دعم المحاربات وتطوير المجتمع.
وقد شهد المعرض الذي أقيم في ساحة الجامعة عقب الندوة إقبالاً كبيراً وتفاعلاً استثنائياً من طلاب جميع كليات الجامعة، الذين سارعوا بملء استمارات التطوع مع مؤسسة بهية، ليثبت شباب جامعة مايو دائماً أنهم رمز للوعي والمسؤولية الإنسانية. 🤝🎓
و على هامش الندوة تم الاتفاق على استقبال عدد من راغبي الكشف مجانا باحدى فروع مؤسسة بهية

*Pink October... Not Just a Color, It's a Message of Life, Awareness, Hope, and Volunteering* 🎗️✨

Driven by the belief in the social responsibility of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at May University in Cairo, and under the auspices of Prof. Moheb El-Rafei, President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Gouda, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Student Activities, Prof. Hala Ezz El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and Prof. Gaber Soliman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision and coordination of Dr. Mahmoud Gaber, Coordinator of the Student Activities and Community Service Committee...

The Faculty of Physical Therapy at May University in Cairo organized an awareness seminar in collaboration with the *Baheya Foundation* to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, which represents a pivotal step in the journey of recovery and prevention.

We were honored to have the following speakers:

🎙️ Mr. Mostafa Yasser Abdel Fattah, Psychological Support Specialist and Volunteering Coordinator, Baheya Foundation

🎙️ Ms. Nahla Mostafa, Volunteer at the Psychological Support and Volunteering Department, Baheya Foundation

🎙️ Kirollos Shehata, a 5th-year student at the Faculty of Physical Therapy and a volunteer at the Psychological Support Department, Baheya Foundation

Because giving never ends, the seminar also addressed the great role of volunteering and its importance in supporting female fighters and developing society.

The exhibition held in the university courtyard after the seminar witnessed a large turnout and exceptional engagement from students of all faculties of the university, who rushed to fill out volunteering forms with the Baheya Foundation, proving once again that the youth of May University are a symbol of awareness and humanitarian responsibility. 🤝🎓

On the sidelines of the seminar, an agreement was reached to receive a number of those wishing to be screened free of charge at one of the branches of the Baheya Foundation.

"كلية الهندسة بجامعة مايو تنفذ مشروعًا تطبيقيًا لتصميم وتنفيذ جهاز Heliodon"

في إطار حرص كلية الهندسة بجامعة مايو على تطوير العملية التعليمية وتعزيز الجانب التطبيقي في البرامج الهندسية، نفّذ طلاب الفرقة الثالثة ببرنامج الهندسة المعمارية تحت اشراف د/مرفت عيسى و اعضاء الهيئة المعاونة م. مي حبيب و م. ريمان حسام مشروعًا تطبيقيًا لتصميم وتنفيذ جهاز Heliodon ، وذلك ضمن متطلبات مقرر التحكم البيئي Environmental Control II.

وجاء تنفيذ المشروع تحت قيادة الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد عبد السلام، عميد كلية الهندسة، والأستاذ المساعد الدكتور/ محمود يونس، وكيل الكلية، والدكتوره/ رناد عفيفي منسق البرنامج

ويهدف المشروع إلى توظيف المعرفة النظرية في تطبيقات عملية تساعد الطلاب على فهم حركة الشمس وتحليل مسارها، ودراسة تأثير الإشعاع الشمسي على المباني والفراغات المعمارية، بما يسهم في تنمية مهاراتهم في التحليل البيئي وتطبيق مبادئ التصميم المعماري ويدعم اتخاذ قرارات تصميمية أكثر كفاءة في التعامل مع الظروف المناخية وتحقيق الراحة الحرارية داخل المباني.

ويأتي هذا المشروع تأكيدًا على أهمية التعلم القائم على التطبيق والممارسة في إعداد كوادر هندسية قادرة على توظيف المعرفة العلمية والأدوات التقنية وتعزيز مفاهيم الاستدامة خاصةً في ظل عدم توافر هذا الجهاز في الكثير من الجامعات المصرية.

"May University’s Faculty of Engineering Develops a Heliodon Device Through a Hands-On Student Project"

As part of the Faculty of Engineering at May University in Cairo’s commitment to developing the educational process and enhancing the practical aspects of engineering programs, third-year students in the Architectural Engineering Program designed and built a Heliodon device as part of the requirements of the Environmental Control II course. The project was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Marvat Eissa, with the support of teaching assistants Mai Habib and Reeman Hossam.

The project was conducted under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Younes, Vice Dean of the Faculty; and Dr. Renad Afifi, Program Coordinator.

The project aims to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications that help students understand the sun’s movement and analyze its path, as well as study the impact of solar radiation on buildings and architectural spaces. This hands-on experience enhances students’ environmental analysis skills, reinforces the application of architectural design principles, and supports more efficient design decisions that respond to climatic conditions and achieve thermal comfort inside buildings.

This project highlights the importance of practical, hands-on learning in preparing qualified engineering professionals capable of applying scientific knowledge and technical tools while promoting sustainability concepts. It is particularly significant given the limited availability of this type of equipment at many Egyptian universities.

في عالم تتسارع فيه الأحداث وتتعدد فيه الآراء، وتثير أوضاعه العالمية والإقليمية أسئلة كثيرة، تستضيف كلية السياسة والاقتصاد وإدارة الأعمال بجامعة مايو بالقاهرة أ.د. علي الدين هلال، المفكر السياسي القدير وأستاذ العلوم السياسية بجامعة القاهرة، في حوار مفتوح مع طلاب الجامعة.

لقاء يجمع عمق الفكر بخبرة الممارسة، لمناقشة كيفية قراءة الأحداث، وفهم ما وراء العناوين، وتكوين رؤية واعية لما يجري حولنا، في فرصة متميزة للحوار وطرح الأسئلة والاستفادة من خبرة ثرية وتجربة ممتدة.

" زيارة جامعة مايو بالقاهرة إلى بانوراما حرب أكتوبر "

نظّمت كلية التمريض جامعة مايو زيارة إلى بانوراما حرب أكتوبر، للتعرّف على بطولات القوات المسلحة المصرية وتضحيات أبطالها خلال حرب أكتوبر المجيدة عام 1973،
وذلك في إطار حرص جامعة مايو على تعزيز الوعي الوطني والتاريخي لدى طلابها، وترسيخ قيم الانتماء والولاء للوطن.

وجاءت الزيارة تحت رعاية أ.د.محب الرافعي ـ رئيس الجامعة،وتحت قيادة أ.د.سماح فيصل - عميدة الكلية، وبحضور د.عبد الرحمن غنيم ـ الأمين المساعد للجامعة ومجموعة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكلية.

وتضمنت الزيارة التعرف على أحداث الحرب ومراحلها المختلفة، واستحضار صفحات مضيئة من تاريخ مصر، جسّدت شجاعة الجندي المصري وإرادته في الدفاع عن أرض الوطن واستعادة كرامته.

كما شهدت الزيارة تكريم اللواء/ عبد الله شاهين ـ مدير بانوراما حرب أكتوبر، والرائد/ طارق أحمد حسن، تقديرًا لجهودهما، وفي إطار تعزيز أواصر التعاون والتواصل وتقدير الدور الوطني في الحفاظ على ذاكرة الوطن وتاريخه.

وتأتي هذه الزيارة تأكيدًا على اهتمام الجامعة بربط طلابها بتاريخ وطنهم، وتنمية وعيهم بالتضحيات التي بُذلت من أجل تحقيق النصر، بما يعزز لديهم روح المسؤولية الوطنية والفخر بالهوية المصرية.

🇪🇬 May University in Cairo Visits the October War Panorama 🇪🇬

The Faculty of Nursing at May University in Cairo organized a visit to the October War Panorama to learn about the heroism and sacrifices of the Egyptian Armed Forces during the glorious October War of 1973. The visit was part of the University’s commitment to promoting national and historical awareness among its students and instilling the values of patriotism and loyalty to the homeland.

The visit was held under the auspices of Prof. Moheb El-Rafei, President of the University, and under the leadership of Prof. Samah Faisal, Dean of the Faculty, with the attendance of Dr. Abdelrahman Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, along with a group of faculty members.

The visit included an overview of the events and various stages of the war, revisiting remarkable chapters in Egypt’s history that embodied the courage of Egyptian soldiers and their determination to defend their homeland and restore its dignity.

The visit also included a recognition ceremony honoring Major General Abdullah Shaheen, Director of the October War Panorama, and Major Tarek Ahmed Hassan, in appreciation of their efforts and as part of the University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and communication and recognizing the importance of preserving Egypt’s national memory and historical heritage.

This visit reflects the University’s commitment to connecting students with their country’s history and raising their awareness of the sacrifices made to achieve victory, thereby strengthening their sense of national responsibility and pride in their Egyptian identity.

في إطار جهود جامعة مايو بالقاهرة لتنمية مهارات طلابها وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل، نظمت كلية السياسة والاقتصاد وإدارة الأعمال ندوة بعنوان «العلامة الشخصية، والتطوير المهني، والهوية المهنية»، وذلك تحت قيادة الأستاذة الدكتورة/ شيرين الشواربي – عميدة الكلية.

واستضافت الندوة الدكتورة/ شيماء نصار - المحاضر في مجال الموارد البشرية والتسويق، ومدربة ومؤسسة محتوى.

تناولت الندوة أهمية بناء العلامة الشخصية وتطوير الهوية المهنية، ودورهما في تعزيز فرص النجاح والتميز في سوق العمل.

كما سلطت الندوة الضوء على أهمية تطوير المهارات الشخصية والمهنية، والتعريف بكيفية إبراز القدرات والخبرات بصورة فعّالة، بما يساعد الطلاب على بناء مسار مهني متميز والاستعداد لمتطلبات سوق العمل المتغيرة.

وجاءت هذه الندوة ضمن جهود كلية السياسة والاقتصاد وإدارة الأعمال بجامعة مايو بالقاهرة لدعم التطوير المهني لطلابها، وتعزيز قدراتهم التنافسية، وإعدادهم للانطلاق بثقة نحو مستقبل مهني واعد.

As part of May University in Cairo’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ skills and prepare them for the job market, the Faculty of Political Science, Economics, and Business Administration organized a seminar entitled “Personal Branding, Career Development and Professional Identity,” under the leadership of Prof. Sherine El-Shawarby, Dean of the Faculty.

The seminar hosted Dr. Shaimaa Nassar, a lecturer in Human Resources and Marketing, as well as a trainer and content creator.

The seminar highlighted the importance of building a strong personal brand and developing a professional identity, emphasizing their role in enhancing students’ opportunities for success and distinction in the job market.

It also focused on the importance of developing personal and professional skills and explored effective ways to showcase individual abilities and experience, helping students build a distinguished career path and prepare for the evolving demands of the job market.

In light of the growing development of artificial intelligence applications and their increasing role across various fields, the Faculty of Political Science, Economics, and Business Administration at May University in Cairo, under the leadership of Prof. Sherine El-Shawarby, Dean of the Faculty, is organizing a scientific seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence Made Simple.”

The seminar will be delivered by:
