Our Duke of Edinburgh students have successfully wrapped up their first expedition weekend at Guy’s Farm.

Despite facing very wet weather on the Saturday, everyone showed incredible perseverance and teamwork. After two nights under canvas and expert training from our dedicated volunteers on Friday and Saturday, the groups finished strong with a fantastic 16km self-navigated walk on Sunday.

Experiences like DofE highlight the heart of the community and support at Blackpool Sixth - providing a warm, encouraging environment where students develop real-world resilience, independence, and leadership skills that drive their success.
