What is the Postgrad Society? We're the only society at the University of Exeter dedicated specifically to postgraduate social life. If you are one of the thousands of Masters/PhD students on campus, this is the society you belong in. We're here just for you and to make sure that your time here is fresh and engaging! We're here to create a fun, social atmosphere where you can make friendships that last into your professional life. Curious about what sort of events we plan? Get excited! Think day trips, themed pub nights, fun socials out on the town and around the area, walks, film nights, and lots of other events that are intended to give postgrads a chance to have some exceptional times! Stroll & Sandwich! 🍁🥪

This Wednesday, we will be taking a lovely autumnal walk to the quay, finishing at Between Bread for some of their delicious sandwiches!

The walk will begin at Streatham campus at 11:30am, and we will make our way down to the quay from there. Feel free to join along the way if you are closer to the quay!

Join us in Cocktail Club at 8pm next Friday in your most sinister disguises, for some creepy cocktails and supernatural spritzes! Tickets drop today at 6pm, so be ready!! Best dressed will be awarded a prize, so come in your most convincing costumes🧛

🍻PUB CRAWL THIS SATURDAY🍻

Come along for a Wetherspoons pub crawl on the 17th of October! It’s a great way to meet new people, or to catch up with friends and get to know your way around Exeter a little better. We’re looking forward to seeing you there, and, of course, enjoying a few pints along the way.

We’ll meet at the Imperial at 8pm, then head to Chev’s before finishing the route at George’s Meeting House.

It’s time for the PGSoc Committee 2025/26 to say goodbye!

More than anything, we hope we’ve helped make PGSoc a place where you can turn up not knowing anyone and leave with new friends, where you can try something completely new, and where there’s always a reason to get involved!

To the people we met along the way - thank you for making this year what it was. And to those of you heading off to new places, we hope you take a little bit of PGSoc with you wherever you go.

And to our fellow postgraduates moving on to new chapters: we hope the next adventure brings you everything you’re looking for!

We’re so grateful to have had the chance to be your committee, and although we’re sad to say goodbye, we’re incredibly excited to see what comes next for PGSoc✨
