We're excited to announce, we will be selling products from The Workroom Edit at the Fashion Show on 5th June.

From pin cushions to bags for makers on the go, this range of sewing storage is made exclusively from textile waste generated within our fashion department. All products have been designed and made by our first year degree students as part of their business project.

Products range from £15 - £45. We can only accept cash on the night, so please come prepared if you would like to make a purchase.

Wow! We needed a couple of days to get over the excitement of our 25th Anniversary celebration event at GG's Bar and Restaurant. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, to the amazing local businesses who donated prizes for our raffle, and to the students and staff for making the event happen.

Here's a snapshot of the first part of the evening featuring our BTEC Y02 students performing their original music. More photos to come!

Final-year BA student shares a glimpse into the creative process behind her final graduate collection, “Tagged”. ✨

Drawing inspiration from the politics of the female body, the collection challenges ideas surrounding feminism, gender performance, and rebellion against traditional stereotypes.

Using upcycled and often discarded materials — including underwear sourced from a charity warehouse and the local community — “Tagged” explores how upcycling can be both a viable and successful approach to creating a sustainable fashion collection. ♻️

Textiles and textures from BA student Reece ahead of the 2026 Runway Show. ✨

Reece’s collection explores capitalism and the way it shapes identity by combining sportswear, workwear, and tailoring — each representing different systems of labour, status, productivity, and consumption within capitalist society.

By reconstructing and upcycling discarded garments sourced from charity shops, the collection challenges systems of overconsumption and waste whilst examining how identity is shaped through productivity, status, and class.

100% responsibly sourced through upcycling, reworking, and deadstock fabrics. ♻️
