The curtain rises on The Ballad of the Blue Kind. An opening evening marked the beginning of new project, developed in collaboration with .
Drawing, installation, music and the body come together to explore the many forms of solitude through the interplay of presence and absence, sound and silence.
Following the musical-inspired performance at Palazzo Strozzi’s Strozzina on 22 and 23 October, the exhibition continues at Ex Teatro dell’Oriuolo, where drawing takes on a sculptural dimension, evoking the memory of bodies and their stories.
The exhibition is curated by Daria Filardo, Academic Coordinator Visual Arts at IED Firenze and Martino Margheri, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, with the support of the 2025–2026 Master Program in Curatorial Practice class.
