The University of Foggia recently welcomed Assoc. Prof. Özlem Özpak Akkuş from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Toros University (Mersin, Türkiye).

The visit offered an opportunity to learn more about each institution’s activities, exchange perspectives on higher education and research, and explore possibilities for future collaboration. International mobility continues to play an important role in creating meaningful connections between universities and promoting the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

International cooperation continues to create valuable opportunities for exchange and collaboration at the University of Foggia.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Agnieszka Stachowicz and Marcin Lasota from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Łódź (Poland), together with Oznur Mert Ciftci from Manisa Celal Bayar University (Türkiye).

Their visit provided an opportunity to share experiences, discuss international activities, and further strengthen cooperation between our institutions. Such exchanges play an important role in fostering mutual understanding and building lasting academic partnerships.

🌍 International Staff Week 2026 has come to an end

From 15 to 19 June, the University of Foggia had the pleasure of bringing together colleagues from partner institutions around the world for the International Staff Week 2026 in Vieste, under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating Partnerships.”

Throughout the week, participants exchanged experiences and best practices, presented their institutions, and strengthened existing collaborations while creating new opportunities for future cooperation. Academic sessions were complemented by cultural and social activities, making the event a valuable occasion for professional growth and international networking.

A sincere thank you to all participants for their enthusiasm, contributions, and commitment to building stronger connections across borders.

International cooperation continues to bring new opportunities for exchange and collaboration at the University of Foggia.

As part of the Erasmus+ programme, we were delighted to host Justyna Maziarz, Justyna Jakubowska and Małgorzata Pasek from the University of Opole (Poland) for a training mobility visit.

During their stay, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, explore the activities of our university, and further strengthen the partnership between our institutions. Such visits play an important role in promoting the sharing of best practices and fostering international academic cooperation.

We were pleased to welcome colleagues from Titu Maiorescu University (Bucharest, Romania) to the University of Foggia. Our guests included Mihaela Pop from the Faculty of Law, Alexandrina Ganciu, PhD, Office Secretary, Alina Niculescu from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and Cristina Barbu from the Accountancy Department.

We were delighted to welcome colleagues from D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria) to the University of Foggia.

During their visit, Chief Asst. Prof. Plamen Petrov, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Violeta Blazheva, PhD, and Assoc.
