After a memorable night of sharing stories, we bid farewell to 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁and made our way through 𝗦𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 for our return trip to Dumaguete.

Our first stop back on the mainland was the iconic 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗱 to pick up some sweet local delicacies and souvenirs. We then headed to the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 to immerse ourselves in the region's rich heritage. We explored the site's historical architectural preservation and its three main highlight exhibitions: "Ang mga Lubong sa Banga", "Kabilin sa Kinaiyahan sa Negros", and "Karaang Edipisyo".

Following a quick lunch at 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗘𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆, we traveled to our final destination of the day: the 𝗧𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲. Touring this heritage site was a profound experience, as it stands as a monumental symbol of the 1898 Negros Revolution—the historic uprising that successfully freed the province from Spanish colonial rule.

Day 3 brought us face-to-face with the deep history that shaped this island, but the journey doesn't end here. We’ll be continuing the trip on October 26 as we kick off the Negros Occidental leg of the tour.
