𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the CMU University Senior Students’ Council (USSCO) features Noireich Benjamin P. Reduca, RN, a nurse at Happy Home, sharing insights on the importance of mental health and self-care.

Guided by the theme GINHAWA: Paghinga, Pahinga, at Pagpapatuloy, this conversation reminds us that it is okay to pause, take a breath, and give ourselves time to rest. No matter how challenging life gets, we can always take things one step at a time.

Let us continue to build a community where everyone feels heard, understood, and supported.

𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐀 : 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚, 𝐏𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚, 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐲

Last October 12, 2026 the CMU University Senior Students’ Council (USSCO) held its Mental Health Awareness Month booth, offering students a space to pause, connect, and take a moment for themselves.

Through simple interactions and shared moments, we were reminded that it is okay to breathe, rest, and continue at our own pace.

May we carry the spirit of GINHAWA beyond this day and continue building a community where everyone feels seen and understood.

KANINONG PANAGINIP ’TO?!

This Mental Health Awareness Day, University Senior Student Council continues to create spaces where senior students can speak, share, and be heard. Because sometimes, a simple question can open up a meaningful conversation.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Ginhawa: Paghinga. Pahinga. At Pagpapatuloy,” we are reminded that life does not always have to be about pushing forward without stopping.

Let this be a reminder to check on one another, practice kindness, and make mental health a conversation we continue to have, not just today, but every day.

USSCO listens, USSCO cares! Let’s continue to Include. Involve. Illuminate. 💚
