๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐’๐Œ๐„ ๐ˆ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐’๐Œ๐„

The ๐‘บ๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’†๐’•๐’š ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’•๐’‰๐’†๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’„๐’” ๐‘ฌ๐’๐’•๐’‰๐’–๐’”๐’Š๐’‚๐’”๐’•๐’” successfully wrapped up its 2nd General Assembly last January 23, 2026. It was a productive day that gave members the opportunity to be fully informed about the current status of SME; covering the activities already conducted, upcoming plans, financial expenses, remaining balance, and the transparency and liquidation of where the organizationโ€™s funds were allocated.

From the 1st year to 4th year, SME members were well represented, showing a strong sense of unity and active participation of the members in helping the organization reach its goals in the near future.

Today, January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM, All 4th Year BSEd Mathematics students are required to attend the Academic Leadership: Workshop for Student Teachers: Lesson Planning and School Forms.

The workshop will be held at the DevCom building, Room AD 203.

This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen your skills as future educators, so make sure to be present and on time.

Attendance will start at 1:45 PM and end at 2:00 PM.

On December 22, 2025, the ๐‘บ๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’†๐’•๐’š ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’•๐’‰๐’†๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’„๐’” ๐‘ฌ๐’๐’•๐’‰๐’–๐’”๐’Š๐’‚๐’”๐’•๐’” conducted a successful detailed lesson planning workshop for second-year students of BSEd Mathematics. The activity was held at the DevCom building, AD 203 Room, of Davao del Sur State College.

The workshop officially started at 1:00 PM with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the DSSC Hymn, and an energizer to engage the participants. The resource speaker for the event was ๐‘€๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘ฆ ๐ฟ๐‘–๐‘ ๐‘™๐‘’๐‘ฆ ๐ฝ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘’ ๐‘…. ๐ฟ๐‘Ž๐‘ฆ๐‘ ๐‘œ๐‘›, ๐‘€๐‘Ž๐ธ๐‘‘, who shared her expertise in crafting an effective detailed lesson plan, which will be a huge help for the students in their future teaching careers.

Moreover, the workshop consisted of discussion and a hands-on activity where students were able to apply what they had learned. After the activity, a certificate and token of appreciation were presented to Ma'am Layson in recognition of her valuable contribution. This was followed by the giving of certificates to the second-year students who actively participated throughout the workshop.

Indeed, the workshop was a productive and meaningful experience for both the participants and the SME officers and committees who worked together to ensure the success of the event. The activity shed light on essential knowledge that the BSEd Math second-year students will soon apply in their coming years in college as future educators of DSSC.
